Go Plastic shatters breakbeat into jagged, jazz-schooled bass runs and reassembles it at inhuman speed and precision, pushing drill'n'bass to a peak of controlled violence that still sounds technically impossible on inspection. Its fusion of live-bass virtuosity with digital rhythm editing gave IDM's most aggressive wing its definitive statement.
