Feed Me Weird Things is a jazz bassist attacking a drum machine and discovering the breaks can fight back. Tom Jenkinson's real playing collides with edits that seem physically impossible, making drill'n'bass feel musical rather than merely athletic. The rough edges are where the collision sparks. It is a debut still finding those edges. The ones it found redrew the map.

Tom Jenkinson plays bass properly, which is the whole explanation. Drum and bass programming at inhuman speed with actual fusion musicianship on top, and a warmth the genre rarely bothered with.
