Lunatic Harness

Lunatic Harness is Mike Paradinas doing jungle badly on purpose and inventing something in the process. µ-Ziq took the breakbeat science and warped it into wonky, melodic, deliberately awkward shapes, and the record found a whole new register for drill'n'bass. It ranks at ninety because the awkwardness that makes it distinctive also makes it uneven, but the highs are genuinely inventive, and it opened a lane nobody else had thought to try.
