U.F.Orb sent a forty-minute ambient house record into the UK top ten, and for a moment the charts genuinely lost their minds. 'Blue Room' has no business being a hit single and was one anyway, all dub space and slow-building drift. It's the Orb at their most commercially improbable and their most self-assured. Adventures did the same thing first and slightly better. This is the one that broke through.

Blue Room is forty minutes long and was a top ten single, which is the most absurd fact in this canon. Tighter than Adventures and less inexhaustible.
