The one the press killed; twenty years later it's the one people defend
Orbus Terrarum slows the Orb until their usual jokes and samples seem half-buried in weather. The record asks for more patience than the hits, but not because it is trying to be difficult; the murk is where the scale and detail live. It is their most difficult record and its reputation has rightly recovered. Its best stretches feel less like songs than terrain.
