LSD and psy-trance's only unarguable album; every canon drops it out of embarrassment

Twisted is psy-trance's unarguable full-length, the Goa record canons tend to drop out of embarrassment and should not. Hallucinogen gives the genre genuine composition and cinematic ambition: sequences stretch, change shape and sometimes wander off before finding their way back. The genre's reputation works against it and the record does not deserve that. It was rave, whatever the snobbery says.

№ 2 on The 10 Best Trance Albums

Simon Posford engineering Goa to a precision the genre rarely bothered with. LSD and Fluoro Neuro Sponge are still what people play to explain what this music could do, and the album has aged far better than its scene.
