One album and no body of work behind it: that is the only thing holding it here. Graham Sutton came to drum & bass from Bark Psychosis and hears the form from somewhere just outside it. Balance of the Force has unusual patience and texture, less interested in demonstrating jungle technique than in stretching its atmosphere.
