The Quest

The Quest is Drexciya's mythology finally assembled, the aquatic fiction of an Atlantic drowned race reimagined as an aquatic future, laid out across a whole record. It's electro at its most conceptually complete, the myth and the music inseparable. It ranks at a hundred and twelve because it's a compilation of the vision rather than a single sustained work, but the vision is one of the most striking in electronic music, and no one built a world like this.
