Patashnik

Patashnik is the record between Microgravity and Substrata, and it may be better than either. Biosphere brought a little more rhythm and a little more melody than the pure ambient work, 'Novelty Waves' almost a pop song by his standards, without losing the cold Arctic clarity. It ranks at a hundred and twenty-six because it sits in the shadow of the two records it falls between, but it stands up to both, and it's arguably his most complete statement.
