Stefan Kozalla came out of German hip-hop, runs Pampa, and writes tracks that manage to be funny and devastating inside the same bar. Amygdala and Knock Knock both chart high. Between them they demonstrate that a dance album can carry an entire personality rather than merely a mood, which most of the genre still treats as impossible.
