Berlin ambient with actual jazz in it

Kitchen brings actual jazz looseness into Berlin ambient with the machines still audible underneath. Sun Electric breathe the rhythms, swing the phrases and send textures wandering just far enough to stop the record settling into grid-perfect calm. It is a quiet achievement, easy to miss beside flashier neighbors. It feels played even when almost everything is programmed.
