Ginger is Rotterdam techno with a soft centre, the best-kept secret of the Warp Artificial Intelligence series. Speedy J made a record harder than its reputation suggests and warmer than its neighbours, techno that could sit on a dancefloor or in headphones without straining either way. It ranks at seventy-one because it's overshadowed by louder records around it, but it's better than its obscurity, and the AI series had few finer entries.
