Anguilla Electrica does not cosplay the 1990s Porter Ricks sound. Six tracks and only 'Sandy Ground' comes in under five minutes. The submerged chords and cavernous pressure are still there. But the surfaces are sharper and the low end feels more exposed, as if the old machinery has been dragged back into the light and found to be meaner than remembered.

Twenty-one years after Biokinetics and recognisably still underwater. Almost no other reunion in this canon works.
