Another Side is the Chicago house album that actually exists, where most of the genre's genius stayed on twelve-inch singles. Larry Heard built a seventy-minute double LP with Robert Owens' voice as the thread, 'Can You Feel It' and 'Mystery of Love' rebuilt into something with real architecture. Deep house is named after this man's touch. It survived a challenge to its place on this list because it holds up as a record you play through, not just a milestone you cite.
