German trance when it still meant something delicate
Stellar Supreme keeps turning away from the obvious climax. Cosmic Baby dissolves long sections into texture, then rebuilds them around melody instead of forcing everything toward release. The album's movement is inward: less ascent than drift, with each change opening another pocket of space. Trance rarely sounded this comfortable withholding the payoff.

Harald Blüchel studied composition and it shows in every bar. The romantic, classically trained side of Berlin trance, made when the genre was still an experiment with melody rather than a formula for one.
