Why it's here

House and techno survive on R.I.P. mostly as memory and residue. Fifteen tracks, five of them under three minutes, so 'Jardin' and 'Shadow From Tartarus' have to carry what the fragments only gesture at. Actress smears the grid into half-legible abstraction organized loosely around death and afterlife, using degradation as compositional material in its own right.
