Why it's here

Actress trades much of his earlier techno drive for haze and obliqueness on Karma & Desire. The sound design remains unmistakably his even in this looser mode, showing an established voice deliberately working against its own functional instincts. Seventeen tracks, six of them under three minutes, so 'Many Seas, Many Rivers' and 'Turin' have to hold the shape.
