Found Sound does what progressive house rarely did: lower the lights. Spooky hold the pulse and drain away the genre's usual gloss, leaving something deeper, stranger and deliberately understated. That quietness explains why it slipped past people at the time and why it still feels separate from the beige middle of the style. A quiet record in a loud genre, easy to miss and better than its reputation.
