In Sides

In Sides is Orbital learning long-form composition in public. 'The Box' and 'Out There Somewhere' stretch past the point where most techno would resolve and keep finding new places to go, and the album holds that ambition across its whole length. It's the sound of a group who had already proven they could write anthems deciding to write suites instead. Two slightly weaker tracks in the middle are all that separate it from the Brown Album.
