M-Series

M-Series is Basic Channel's dancefloor alias, the loops that Berlin ran on for a decade collected in one place. Maurizio took the label's dub-techno rigour and made it functional, peak-time music built from the same austere materials. It's the operating system of a whole scene. It ranks at a hundred and three because it's a refinement of BCD's idea rather than a new one, but the refinement kept an entire city's dancefloors moving for years.
