In Colour reassembles UK rave history - hardcore stabs, jungle breaks, 2-step swing, steel-pan hooks - into a coherent solo album that never abandons dancefloor function for nostalgia's sake. Its clarity of production and songcraft carried underground rave memory to an audience that had never been near the raves it drew from.
