Dreamfish is Mixmaster Morris and Pete Namlook improvising together, Fax at its most generous, two ambient minds building long warm pieces in real time. It has the looseness of a genuine collaboration rather than a composed record, and that looseness is its charm. It ranks at ninety-six because it's a session rather than a statement, but the session caught something relaxed and expansive that a more careful record might have lost.
