Dreamfish is Mixmaster Morris and Pete Namlook building long, warm ambient pieces together in real time. The music has the looseness of a genuine session: ideas drift in, overlap and sometimes linger longer than a composed record would permit. Nothing seems eager to end. A session, not a statement, and a more careful record would have lost what this one caught.
