Automanikk catches Gerald with 'Voodoo Ray' behind him and jungle still ahead, Manchester acid hanging on while a different rhythmic language starts to appear. The old machinery has not disappeared yet; you can already hear him outgrowing it. It is not the equal of the records on either side of it; it has aged better than the moment that produced it.
