René Löwe worked at Hard Wax alongside the Basic Channel circle and cut records consisting of little more than two chords and enormous amounts of space. Elevations is dub techno reduced to its absolute minimum and is foundational to the entire style. Almost nobody has matched its patience, and plenty have tried.
