He was part of Underground Resistance's first wave, left to build his own austere version of the music, and later reconnected it to gospel through Floorplan. Minimal Nation proved that one loop, built properly, could carry an entire movement. Minimal techno was a discipline before it was a marketing term, and this is where that started.
