Eric Burton takes a London genre and hollows it into something ceremonial, all gunshots and silence. He works from Houston, runs Halcyon Veil, and has collaborated with Chino Amobi and Elysia Crampton in the deconstructed club circle. Communion is grime treated as liturgy, and almost nobody else has attempted the comparison.
