A voice that seems to have arrived from another century entirely, over breakbeat hardcore on Shut Up and Dance. Now Is Early came out in 1992 and nobody else was attempting anything like it. Massive Attack borrowed her for Protection and she later worked with Plaid. Criminally under-credited, and the record explains why that still rankles.
