He recorded E2-E4 in a single take in 1981, released it in 1984, and then watched it get sampled into Sueño Latino and adopted as a Balearic institution while he was looking the other way. An hour of guitar and sequencer that built a bridge to house music entirely by accident. He died in 2022, still faintly bemused by its afterlife.
