Cinematic weight and very little light, first through Brainfeeder and then largely on his own terms. The music found a much wider audience than its mood suggests, turning up in games, fashion shows and film trailers for a decade. Ask the Dust is dread-heavy electronic music made by someone entirely uninterested in relief.
