Their debut single sold over a hundred thousand copies and told everyone what British techno was going to be: sub-bass as a regional accent. Mark Bell and Gez Varley put Yorkshire's bleep sound on the map and shook Warp into existence doing it. Frequencies charts high. Bell went on to produce Björk and Depeche Mode before his death in 2014.
