It appeared on Warp in 1995 with a full retro-futurist backstory about a Detroit family band, released one album and vanished. Elektroworld plays Kraftwerk homage almost entirely straight, and the love in the pastiche is real enough, and the execution precise enough, that it works as more than a joke.
