Two brothers in rural Scotland who turned nostalgia into a working production technique and then hid enough numerology in the artwork to keep forums busy for twenty-five years. Music Has the Right to Children, Geogaddi and Tomorrow's Harvest all chart high. Most of what gets called ambient electronica is still living inside the world they built.
