Sascha Ring is the songwriter in a scene that mostly produces track-makers. He co-founded Shitkatapult, spent years releasing melodic electronica under his own name, and then joined Modeselektor to build Moderat into one of the largest live electronic acts in Europe. He turns up here through Orchestra of Bubbles, where his instincts and Ellen Allien's club sense hold each other in balance.
