Multila

Multila stretches dub techno into vast, granular space. 'Huone' runs twenty-two minutes and 'Pietola' sixteen, so two tracks hold more than half the album. Vladislav Delay drifts low end, delay and rough digital texture around one another until the music feels less like a set of tracks than a changing environment.

Dub techno left to decompose in real time. Ripatti trained as a jazz drummer, which is why nothing here sits where you expect it, and the whole record moves like weather over Finland.
