Jungle breaks, ambient-techno wash and IDM-level rhythmic detail pass into one another almost invisibly across Pool. Even the abstract passages stay dancefloor-adjacent. The transitions are fluid enough that genre boundaries stop announcing themselves. Eighteen tracks and 'Rio Dub' is the one that gives it its temperature.

Two hours, no filler, and no interest in choosing between jungle, ambient, electro and techno. Müller works out of Munich with almost no public presence, and this is the most complete argument anyone has made for what the form can still absorb.
