Aaltopiiri

Pan Sonic make Aaltopiiri feel like a room where somebody has removed all the soft materials. Metallic pulse, clipped noise and long stretches of near-empty space harden slowly until the austerity becomes physical; by the end, even silence feels load-bearing. Seventeen tracks, six under ninety seconds, so the short ones work as gaps in the metal rather than pieces of it.
