Footwork abstracted until the genre is a memory and what remains is pure rhythmic architecture, built by a former steel-mill worker from Gary, Indiana with no interest in anyone's scene. It sits at the edge of this page and belongs on it, because the deconstruction here goes further than anywhere else in the field.
