Emptyset builds industrial techno from stripped bass, noise and hard-edged spatial design. The debut's severity comes from how little material the duo use, turning reduction itself into a source of physical pressure. Four tracks are called 'Gate' and two 'Beyond', numbered, in a running order that reads like a floor plan.
