Ultra Truth hits harder than Song for Alpha with the same obsession with atmosphere around the blow. The breaks land with more weight, the haze stays thick and Avery keeps making impact strangely lonely, as though the club emptied out but the sound system never got the memo. 'Lone Swordsman' is here for Andrew Weatherall, who died two years before it came out.
