Death Peak balances Clark's rhythmic aggression against melodies that keep threatening to soften it. 'Catastrophe Anthem' is a contradiction as a title and a fair description of the track. Distorted drums, bright synth lines and abrupt structural turns give it a physical edge. But the hooks stop the Warp-era complexity from hardening into pure technique.
