Clark's self-titled album holds his Warp-era mix of melody, abrasion and techno pressure in confident balance. The record does not reinvent his language, but the synthesis of hooks, distorted rhythm and detailed sound design remains unmistakably his. Thirteen tracks and seven under four minutes, so nothing is allowed to become a showcase.
