Black Diamond throws kuduro, techno and bass-heavy rave-pop into the same high-pressure frame. 'New 1 Africas' and 'New 2 Africas' run consecutively, the first under two minutes and the second twice that. Buraka Som Sistema run the rhythms syncopated and the sound-system impact blunt enough that the fusion reads first as dancefloor music and only second as stylistic collage.
