Jason Swinscoe put live jazz musicians inside sampler logic and recorded them so that neither side wins, which is much harder than it sounds and almost nobody else managed it. Motion built the bridge between Ninja Tune's crates and a working band; Every Day brought in Fontella Bass and made the approach permanent.
