She spent the seventies making machines talk for advertising, including the sound of a Coca-Cola being poured, and then made Buchla music with actual melodies in it. Seven Waves is lyrical where her contemporaries were austere, and it took reissue culture thirty years to find her. She still performs on the same instrument.
