James Ford and Jas Shaw took analogue hardware jams to indie dancefloors and had the production chops to survive the crossover, which most of their peers did not. Ford went on to produce Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode and Haim. Attack Decay Sustain Release bottled new rave while sounding better made than everything around it.
