Satoshi Ashikawa

The Japanese environmental school at its most severe. Still Way places piano and vibraphone with enormous care and permits almost nothing else into the room, which makes it the most disciplined record in that tradition. He ran the Wave Notation series that carried Yoshimura's first album, and died in 1983, the year after this came out.
