Birmingham gave industrial techno its name and its severity, and she carries both. She came up through the local scene, later based herself in Berlin, and has been outspoken about the industry's treatment of women through the #ForTheMusic campaign. Fear Paralysis is uncompromising warehouse music with the hardcore roots still showing.
