The Versailles band adjacent to all of it, sharing a hometown and a set of studios with Air and Daft Punk without ever being a dance act. United is filed here for its rhythm section rather than its guitars, and for the fact that Philippe Zdar mixed much of what came after. They spent a decade being the least famous band in that circle and then were not.
