Matt Cutler paints rave nostalgia in ultraviolet, working from Nottingham with a palette lifted from hardcore, Detroit and dream pop. Three albums chart: Emerald Fantasy Tracks, Galaxy Garden and Reality Testing. He made the nineties usable again for a generation that had not been there, which is harder than simply recycling them.
