Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay put disco, metal and church organ through a wall of Marshall stacks and made distortion into a pop value. The cross album is blog-house's loudest possible statement. D.A.N.C.E. shows its age in places and Genesis does not, which is roughly what happens to monuments.
